THE IDEA
About Fidget Mouse
Sometimes a good click is all you need. Fidget Mouse puts a little 3D computer mouse on your desk, ready to press, spin, and make your own. Turn it around, listen to the buttons, and find a shell color or finish that feels right. You can add an image to its top shell and adjust the light for a tiny product shoot. There is no timer or target to reach, just a pleasantly unnecessary object to play with. This is an independent recreation inspired by My Mouse on Bubbbly.
How to Play
Press the left and right buttons on the model to hear a click and watch the counters grow. Drag the wheel to spin it through its notches. Drag the empty space around the mouse to rotate the view, and use Reset camera to return to the starting angle. Open the customization controls to change shell colors and finishes, fit an uploaded image to the top shell, and adjust button travel, sound, lighting, and surface roughness. Try the turntable for an automatic spin, then save a PNG photo or download a clickable HTML keepsake.
GOOD TO KNOW
FAQ
- Is there a score or a goal?
- There is no win condition or time limit. The counters keep track of button presses while you experiment with the mouse.
- Can I put my own picture on the mouse?
- Yes. Upload an image and fit it to the top shell with the image controls. The image is handled in your browser.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. Tap the mouse buttons and drag to spin the wheel or rotate the view. Optional vibration works on devices and browsers that support it.
- What can I download?
- Save a PNG photo of your mouse or download a clickable HTML keepsake. A photo is a still image; the HTML keepsake can be opened in a browser for more clicks.
- Will my mouse be here when I return?
- Treat your customization as part of this page session. Download a photo or HTML keepsake before leaving if you want to keep it.
