FORMING CLOUD...

THE IDEA

About Point Cloud Mystery

At first, it is just a cloud of little colored dots. Turn it a little and something almost familiar appears, then disappears again. Point Cloud Mystery is a visual puzzle about finding the one perspective that makes everything fall into place. Ten original pictures are hidden inside ten clouds, from animals and flowers to small familiar things. Take your time, trust your eyes, and enjoy the moment when a mess of color suddenly becomes a picture. There is no time limit and no account to create.

How to Play

Drag with your mouse or one finger to turn the cloud freely in any direction. Use slow drags for fine control, or hold it still to stop. Turn on Hint whenever you want an arrow showing which way to drag. Each cloud has a different shape and a hidden viewpoint: explore its sides, top and underside. The Getting clearer message tells you when you are close. When Release to reveal appears, let go or hold the view steady and it will snap upright. Your timer starts on your first drag, and each completed drag counts as one move. Choose Next to continue or Restart to try the same cloud again. Arrow keys also rotate; hold Shift for finer adjustments. Progress and best times stay in this browser.

GOOD TO KNOW

FAQ

Why does the picture disappear when I turn it?
The colored points sit at different distances along rays from one viewpoint. They line up from that angle, but turning the cloud scatters the picture across space.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. Drag with one finger in a browser that supports WebGL 2. The cloud uses fewer points on phones. Dragging inside the puzzle does not scroll the page.
What is saved?
Your current puzzle, completed levels, and best time for each level are saved locally in this browser. Your streak lasts for the current visit. You can still play if browser storage is unavailable.
Is there a time limit?
No. The timer is just a personal record. It pauses when the page is hidden, the puzzle is scrolled out of view, or you choose Pause.
