THE IDEA

About Keyboard Chaos

Type a sentence. Make a mess. Keyboard Chaos turns keyboard practice into a small, very avoidable disaster. Work through floating three-dimensional letters, fix your mistakes, and watch the finished passage collapse into a heap. Pick a word list, try a quote, or bring your own text. Your Damage Report tracks speed, accuracy, and previous attempts so you can see what improved between wreckages. Spend earned coins in the Chaos Shop on flame and ice cursors, falling coins, burning words, and TNT. Daily trouble offers a fresh set of goals and rewards. Settings, results, coins, and unlocked effects save in this browser when storage is available. No account, download, or cleanup crew required.

How to Play

Type the passage shown on the stage. On a phone, tap the stage to open your keyboard. Choose words, quote, or custom mode. Word runs offer 10, 25, 50, 100, or 200 words from English 200, English 1k, and English 10k lists. Open the Control Room to add punctuation and numbers, paste your own text, or adjust volume and sound effects. Backspace fixes a mistake. Tab starts a new passage; Shift and Tab repeat the current one. When the letters fall, check your result, review the passage, or press Enter for another run. Open Damage Report for saved attempts and Chaos Shop to buy, equip, or upgrade effects. Complete daily trouble and collect falling coins to fund the next mess.

GOOD TO KNOW

FAQ

What can I type?
Choose a word run, a quote, or your own text. Word runs use English 200, English 1k, or English 10k lists and offer five lengths from 10 to 200 words. The Control Room lets you add punctuation and numbers.
How do I make a bigger mess?
Visit the Chaos Shop for flame and ice cursors, falling coins, burning words, and TNT. Daily rewards and coin drops earn coins for purchases and upgrades. Equip the effects you own and tune unlocked upgrades to suit your run.
Will my Damage Report and purchases survive a reload?
Yes, when browser storage is available. Your typing history, settings, daily progress, coins, and effects stay on this browser and device. You do not need an account. Clearing browser storage removes those records.
Can I use a phone or turn down the noise?
Tap the stage to use your phone keyboard. The Control Room has a master volume slider and separate switches for typing, error, and movement sounds. The three-dimensional stage needs a browser with WebGPU or WebGL2.
How do I take another shot at a passage?
Press Tab for a new passage or Shift and Tab to repeat the one you are typing. After a run, use the result controls to review, repeat, or continue. Enter starts the next run from the result screen.
