About Stack Something Weird

It starts innocently enough: a bun, a patty, a slice of cheese. Then lunch takes a turn. Stack Something Weird is a free browser stacking game where a perfectly ordinary hamburger becomes a tower of increasingly unreasonable objects. Balance a coffee on a duck, find room for a keyboard, and try to explain the toilet. Every object changes the balance of the entire tower. A careful counterweight might save it; one more ambitious layer might send everything tumbling. Play on desktop or mobile with no download, account, or external assets to load.

How to Play

Grab an object on the left, flick up and right, and release to throw. Crossing the dashed line also releases it. Your hand speed sets the arc: catch the tower on the way down, then watch the bounce and slide. You can miss once without losing your tower; a second miss ends the run. On a keyboard, Up and Down adjust the angle, Left and Right adjust power, and Space throws. Hold Shift for finer adjustments. Reach eight layers to unlock Bank Score, or keep throwing. If the balance meter turns red, aim a counterweight toward the opposite side before the tower collapses. P pauses.

FAQ

How do I play Stack Something Weird?
The bottom bun is ready on the plate. Grab the next ingredient on the left and flick it up and right. Release to send it flying; faster gestures throw harder. Each catch adds a layer. The opening ingredients build a burger, then stranger things start arriving. You have two chances to miss.
Is the tower using real physics?
Balance is calculated from the weight and position of every piece above each support. While you play, the tower uses controlled wobble so you have a chance to recover. When it fails, the objects switch to real rigid-body physics and fall onto the table.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes. Grab with one finger and flick up and right. Dragging on the game does not scroll the page. You need a browser with WebGL 2; no app installation is required.
How is the score calculated?
A successful catch earns 100 points plus a height bonus. A precise catch adds 50; a useful counterweight adds 75 instead. Consecutive precise catches add a combo bonus, and risk bonuses grow after the eighth layer. Both a collapse and banking keep your earned points, and your personal best is saved in this browser when storage is available.
Why does the tower wobble?
Each landing gives the tower a little shake. An off-center stack keeps leaning because the weight above a support is too far to one side. Small supports and heavy objects make this more noticeable. A counterweight can calm it down; stay in the red too long and the tower collapses. An airborne miss costs a heart and leaves the stack in place.
